Matching cover to the 'Pieces Dipper (3x3)' tool. Each of the 9 wells gets covered with a curved cap. When the dipper and cover are together submerged into liquid, pieces that would otherwise float are pushed down, contacted only at the piece edges. After insertion into liquid, this tool would typically be removed so pieces can be observed during wet processing.
